We are thrilled to be the spotlight program featured in the Obama Foundation’s 2021 Annual Report ‘Hope to Action’! Together with our partner, Milaan Foundation, we implemented the Girl Icon Program, in which 25% of the curriculum focuses on providing menstrual health education and products to young girls in underprivileged regions of India. This report really proves that it takes just a vision and dedication to #GIVEHERACHANCE.
Our unwavering belief in the power of adolescent girls and grassroots girl leadership brought us together to strengthen our hope and vision to create a cadre of next-generation leaders. It is heartwarming to see increasing recognition of our efforts from all the supporters who believe in us and our mission.
As stated by Barack Obama, "Change starts one person at a time, one school at a time, one neighborhood at a time, one community at a time."
