JIGISHA K. PATEL
Jigisha K. Patel is the President and Co-Founder of Ayati which was established in 2014. Jigisha is also a finance professional with a career of nearly 25 years as a corporate credit fixed income analyst and portfolio manager at firms including MetLife, Deutsche Bank and Goldman Sachs. Her expertise is in insurance asset management with portfolio management of some of the largest insurers in the U.S. and Europe. Jigisha has a B.S. and M.B.A. in Finance from Rutgers University. She lives in Scotch Plains, NJ with her husband and twin boys.
SNEHA PATEL
Sneha Patel is the Vice-President and Co-Founder of Ayati which was established in 2014. Sneha is also a physical therapist with a career of over 25 years. Her expertise is in home care and geriatric rehab, in which she has spent the last 20 years with agencies in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania and is currently with Trinity Health. Sneha has a transitional Doctorate of Physical Therapy from AT Still University and a Master’s in Physical Therapy from Boston University. She lives in Ringoes, NJ with her husband and 3 children.
SIMA DeSAI
Sima Desai is Secretary and Co-Founder of Ayati which was established in 2014. Sima is a Senior Director at Sanofi with a career of nearly 25 years as a Global Regulatory Affairs professional at various pharmaceutical companies in the NJ area spanning many therapeutic areas including Consumer Healthcare. Sima has a B.S. in Pharmacy from Rutgers University, College of Pharmacy and is a registered Pharmacist in the state of NJ. She lives in Scotch Plains, NJ with her husband and 4 children.
PIYUSH MEHTA
Piyush Mehta, board member of Ayati, has over 25 years of entrepreneurial experience, with the past 20 focused in software and technology services. Currently Piyush serves as CEO and a Board Member of Data Dynamics, Inc., a company he founded in 2012. With a “customer centric” mindset, Data Dynamics has 25 percent of the Fortune 100 companies as its customers, as well as 12 of the world’s top 20 banks.
He is passionate about business start-ups and loves the rollercoaster ride that comes with it as well as the challenges inherent to it. Piyush has a B.S. from NYU Stern School of Business. He currently lives in West New York, NJ with his wife.
SNEHA DESAI
Sneha Desai is a Co-Founder and treasurer of Ayati since 2014. She is also an attorney, and works for Stryker as its Chief Legal Counsel, Global Litigation & Employment. In that role, she will lead Stryker’s global legal teams in the areas of litigation, employment and investigations and will be responsible for developing litigation strategy in collaboration with business and functional leaders globally. She will also be a member of the global Legal & Compliance department executive leadership team. Sneha is also on the Board of Volunteer Lawyers for Justice, a nonprofit based in Newark, NJ whose mission is to ensure access to justice for people experiencing poverty. Sneha lives in Scotch Plains, NJ with her husband Anand, son Nikhil, daughter Kaya and rescue dog Daisy.
Sheila Rohra, board member of Ayati, is currently CEO of Hitachi Vantara, focusing on accelerating growth through transformation and innovation with a customer-first mindset. Under her leadership, the company develops and delivers innovative data infrastructure solutions designed to accelerate customers’ digital transformations around the globe. Sheila joined Hitachi Vantara in February 2023 as Chief Strategy Officer and was named President of the data infrastructure business in August 2023 before being named CEO in November 2023.
Prior to Hitachi Vantara, Sheila served as Senior Vice President and General Manager, Data Infrastructure Business at Hewlett Packard Enterprise. Before that, she spent 10 years at NetApp where she served as SVP of Customer Success and led an enterprise-wide transformation as Chief Transformation Officer. Sheila also had leadership roles at Cisco and Bay Networks (later acquired by Nortel Networks).
Sheila lives in the Bay Area and volunteers as a board member for women in technology organizations. In her leisure time, Sheila enjoys traveling, hiking and cooking with her family.
