Scotch Plains, NJ. Ayati welcomes the appointment of Arvin Patel to the Board of Directors. This brings the number of board members to six.
Arvin Patel is an American inventor, innovator, and entrepreneur. He currently serves as Nokia’s Chief Licensing Officer dedicated to investing and working with the world’s best minds and businesses. He will be a valuable addition to our board and we look forward to working with Arvin to build our communication strategy and scale our impact towards creating more social leaders in India and creating opportunities for these young women.
Arvin has decades of experience in the technology and entertainment sectors and is an IP industry veteran known for creating non-traditional strategies to develop products and services. He has overseen R&D and IP for world-leading companies and held senior leadership roles at IBM and Technicolor. He most recently served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Intellectual Property Officer at TiVo and Chief Operating Officer for Intellectual Ventures.
Arvin is a Forbes Council Member and enjoys writing about the intersection of technology and public policy.
Arvin resides in Sunnyvale, California with his wife and son. He holds a B.A. in legal studies from the University of California, Berkeley, a J.D. from the California Western School of Law, and a LLM in technology, intellectual property, and commerce from Franklin Pierce School of Law.
Arvin is dedicated to diversity in the workplace. He is a strategic advisor to RSquaredAI, an innovative platform dedicated to enhancing the health and diversity of workplace culture. He is also an advisor to the American Kickboxing Academy – a lifelong passion of his.
Holding more than 50 patents worldwide, Mr. Patel has been named a Top 100 Lawyer in California by the American Society of Legal Advocates since 2013.
He is also an avid supporter of youth in his community and is looking forward to helping to create and support the transformation shift for opportunities for young women with Ayati.
